Solaris Dreams' Sound Design, Composition and Production Department is staffed by an association of leading professionals who have created music and sound for commercials, feature films, art installations, museum installations and direct clients. We can produce music of any genre, for all media and design sound for any type of show. We work according to the needs of our clients and we offer them our ideas and solutions to achieve the best results in their projects using the infinite potential of music and audio.
We provide remote recording service through SourceConnect. We have allies in various countries in Latin America, the USA and Europe, for vocal recordings in various languages and accents, and for instrumental recordings anywhere in the world.

“I Compose, produce and perform music for Film, theater plays, short videos, and different types of musical performances. I write songs for small format projects, like guitar and voice duets, or typical 3 to 6 instrument bands of different genres like rock, funk, fusion, soul R&B, progressive rock, jazz fusion, Blues, World music, New Age, Ambient, Experimental, indie rock, latin music, Bossa nova among others. I also compose Contemporary and Minimalist music for string quartets, quintets, sextets, septets and octets. I'm influenced by Minimalist composers Like Arvo Part and Philip Glass. Also Ambient composers like Steve Roach, or experimental and jazz fusion Composers like John Zorn.
Guitar is my main Instrument but I mainly use the piano to compose. I Play both Acoustic and Electric guitar. Depending on the case I can offer the option of working with a team of other fellow music Producers that help me to arrange and record music for bigger formats like orchestras and big bands. I write music scores in Sibelius and I use Logic Pro to Create MIDI sequences. After recording I Mix in Pro Tools. Below you can listen to some samples of my work.”

Simon Delgado
Musician / Composer
He started his musical journy under the tutelage of Maestro Francisco Cristancho, learning harmony, orchestration and composition. Being involved in the citie’s musical scene he has performed in the best theaters in Bogota, Medellin and Barranquilla. In 2005 he traveled to Long Island where he spent a year at Long Island Univestity, reciving lessons from Dr. Chris Culver, Dr. Carl Strommenn and Professor Hynes. In 2007 he won an scholarship to study in L’Aula de Barcelona, a city where he worked as a studio musician, composer and producer until 2014 when he returned to Colombia and continued to perform, teach and write music. His compositions and recordings (cello, electric bass, piano and guitar) can be heard in television, web, documentaries and in radio, having won an award for best music at the Go Independent Film Festival in Washington D.C.
